My playlist this week consisted of a personal Rick Ross Greatest Hits compilation. Ross is one of my favorite rappers that’s been in the game for the past 20 years. The discography of Rick Ross needs to be discussed as being one of the better ones in hip hop. My top 5 albums by Rick Ross are amazing and there are a couple other ones that are great also. My featured track is from his Deeper Than Rap album that dropped back in 2009. During this time was when his feud with 50 Cent began. So, they have been throwing shots at each other for over 15 years now. Mafia Music, Magnificent, Usual Suspects, Rich Off Cocaine and In Cold Blood are some of my favorite tracks from the album. Another one of my favorite tracks from the album is Valley of Death.
Valley of Death is my featured Throwback Thursday track of the week. Valley of Death wasn’t released as an official single, but it’s one of the many highlights off Deeper Than Rap.
