I-20 Break Bread featuring Ludacris and Bone Crusher

One of the albums that made my playlist this week was Self Explanatory from I-20. I-20 is best known for being a part of the Disturbing the Peace crew with Ludacris. He appeared on several releases from DTP before releasing his own project. I-20 got his big break being featured on Ludacris’s huge hit, Move Bitch that also featured Mystikal. Move Bitch was from the classic Word of Mouf joint from Ludacris. A little over 20 years ago, I-20 dropped his only album called Self Explanatory. It was released in October of 2004 and Break Bread was the only official single to drop. Self Explanatory would become a top 3 album on Billboard’s Top Rap Albums chart. Break Bread was one of many bangers on the album. My featured Throwback Thursday is Break Bread featuring Ludacris and Bone Crusher.

This was the only album from I-20, but he dropped a lot of mixtapes until 2013. With Ludacris is rumored to be working on a new album, maybe we’ll hear from I-20 on the new project.
