Are you ready for the weekend? We have reached Friday and hopefully it’ll be nice this weekend wherever you’re located. With it being Friday, you know it’s time for another Mixtape Friday. We started the week off with the Instructions joint from Jermaine Dupri. This was the follow up to his Life in 1472 project. Up next was the Ice Cream Man from Master P. When it comes to the Ice Cream Man, that’s one of the southern classic from the mid-90s. The Champ is Here Pt. 3 from Jadakiss followed. The Jadakiss Mixtape was hosted by DJ Drama and DJ Green Lantern, which unfortunately isn’t available for streaming. My compilation from last week for some play next. On that one, there were some really good music on it and you all should peep it. My personal Mystikal Greatest Hits came through next.
Six tracks were picked from the Mystikal set and four of them were featured on his Unpredictable joint. DMX’s fourth album, The Great Depression was up next. Four tracks made it to this week’s Mixtape Friday. The next to the last project was a mixtape featuring some of the top tracks of 2008. The final one isn’t on Apple Music and it’s Fesu. His album War with No Mercy was so dope and underrated. If I’m not mistaken the album came out in like 1994.
