    Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl Prediction

The 10th ranked Florida Gators will battle the 7th ranked Michigan Wolverines in SEC territory. These two team have become familiar with each other in recent years. In 2016, they met in the Gator Bowl and the Wolverines thrashed the Gators 41-7 in Harbaugh’s first season. In 2017, Michigan beat Florida in the opening game in Texas 33-17. Here we are once again with these two teams battling as they both try to cap off a pretty successful season with a win. The Gators finished with a 9-3 record and winners of three in a row after their 2-game losing streak. Florida lacked offensive fire power, but the defense makes…

2018 Capital One Orange Bowl Prediction

We’ll kick things off with one of the College Football Playoff Games. We have the Capital One Orange Bowl between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Oklahoma Sooners. As we all know, Kyler Murray walked away with the Heisman Trophy barely edging out Tua Tugavoila. Many people still didn’t think the Sooners deserved to be in the playoffs. Either way they’re in and probably have the most lethal offense in the playoffs. Will they be able to put up those crazy numbers against the Crimson Tide? In the SEC Championship, the Georgia Bulldogs exposed the Tide defense. Coming into this game, Oklahoma has a more explosive offense. The issue with…

Atlanta Falcons Need To Consider New Offensive Coordinator

The Atlanta Falcons are just a couple of years removed from playing in the Super Bowl. And while their roster is largely the same as the one who played in that game, the team looks like a shell of its former self, as the Falcons have struggled to find ways to put points on the board. With their playoff hopes all but gone for 2018, the Falcons need to think about their future, and consider a future without current offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian. Sarkisian took over for former offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan, who left the Falcons after their Super Bowl collapse to take the head coaching job of the San…

    Daddy’s Hangout NFL Week 1 Predictions 2018

This year, I’ll be doing my college football prediction on my other website. After an incredibly crazy offseason, we finally get back to some real action. Coming into this season, we can honestly say that the NFC is like the Western Conference in the NBA. They are stacked with about seven teams that could potentially make a Super Bowl run. Philadelphia, Atlanta, Minnesota, New Orleans, Los Angeles Rams, Green Bay and Carolina have legitimate chances. In the AFC, we all know about New England, but Pittsburgh, Houston, Jacksonville, Tennessee and the Los Angeles Chargers are threats. We kick things off with Atlanta visiting the defending Super Bowl Champs, the Philadelphia…

Georgia Falls to Alabama In National Title Game

The line to get into the Georgia locker room as the confetti stopped falling inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium was almost as bad as the lines to get through the general admission gates an hour before kickoff, without the understandable excuse of the Secret Service clearing the way for the president. It got worse when Bulldogs senior tight end Jeb Blazevich attracted the attention of the first cameras into the locker room, choking off half of the entryway as he began to answer questions about what it was like to fall on the losing end of one of the best finishes to a college football national championship game since the turn of…

Daddy’s Hangout 2018 National Championship Game Prediction

After an exciting season in college football, we have finally arrived at the championship game. Many felt Oklahoma and Clemson would be meeting in this game. If you viewed my last predictions, then you know that I’m guilty of picking those two to advance also. In sports, we’ve all heard that a good defense will beat a great offense and it’s true. In the first game, Georgia used a stout and aggressive defense to suffocate the Oklahoma offense in the second half. Alabama came out from the start to smother the high-powered offense of the Clemson Tigers in the second game. Now we have an All-SEC championship game and…

Daddy’s Hangout 2018 New Year’s Day Bowl Predictions

First off, Happy New Year’s Day to everyone out there. Unfortunately, I wasn’t available throughout the weekend, so the Cotton Bowl was my last prediction. With the Buckeyes taking care of the Trojans as predicted, my bowl record jumped to 2-2. My overall record is now 51-19 and my winning percentage is 72.9% as of today. I’ll be picking the Peach, Citrus and College Football Semifinals for today. Let’s go ahead and get this thing started!   We kick things off in Atlanta for the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl. The undefeated 12th ranked UCF Knights will take on the 7th ranked Auburn Tigers in what should be an entertaining game. With…

Daddy’s Hangout 2017 Conference Championship Predictions

It’s hard to believe this is the last weekend of the regular season in college football. This has been an amazing season and we have so many scenarios waiting to play out to figure out who’ll participate in the playoffs. With this Week 14, this will feature all the conference championship games in the major conferences. Last week my record was a perfect 5-0, which bumped my record to 43-17. My overall winning percentage jumped from 69.1 to 71.7%. It was a crazy weekend last week when two of the final four undefeated teams went down. First, we had the Miami Hurricanes fall to the Pitt Panthers and later that…

The New York Yankees Blank Astros, Take 3-2 Series Lead

This time, it was Masahiro Tanaka who was untouchable on the mound. And when the New York Yankees sent Houston ace Dallas Keuchel to an early exit, their rollicking crowd let loose with a cathartic roar that must have boomed all over the Bronx. “New York is no joke,” Keuchel said afterward. One more big win, and these Yankees are World Series-bound. Tanaka pitched seven innings of three-hit ball and New York finally solved a longtime nemesis at just the right moment, beating Keuchel and the Astros 5-0 on Wednesday for a 3-2 lead in the AL Championship Series. “What a performance,” Yankees third baseman Todd Frazier said about Tanaka.…

Daddy’s Hangout Presents 2017 National Championship Game Prediction

We have finally made it to the end of another exciting college football season. The season ends like it did last season with the Alabama Crimson Tide facing the Clemson Tigers for the championship. Last week I predicted a total of 12 bowl games and my record was 10-2. My overall record jumped to 63-24 and my winning percentage jumped from 70.7% to 72.4%. That means for the first time I’ll finish above the 70% winning percentage goal that I’ve set for myself. Coming into these playoffs, did we have any doubt this would be the match-up for the title? Let’s see who I think will leave Tampa on Monday…

How I Kill Time on a Boring Saturday ($30 PayPal Giveaway)

After working a long week I usually have a whole weekend planned, but not this on this particular one. After waking up without anything to do I became bored really quick, so I’m looking around for something to do. Below are some of the things I have done to kill time on my boring Saturday!! With the summer winding down, I’ve tried to cook on the grill as much as possible even though it doesn’t matter because I’ll cook during the winter. There is nothing better than eating food off the grill, then add my love of ribs I ran to the store to pick up some meat and threw…

The Packers Might Have A Steal In Undrafted OL Matt Rotheram

It’s the first time in Ted Thompson’s 10 year-long career as the Packers’ general manager that he hasn’t drafted at least one offensive lineman. While the streak may be over, the Packers may still have come away from the draft with a steal — the undrafted free agent Matt Rotheram. To be sure, the team has plenty of other priorities to think about right now. But Rotheram has enough talent to make the question of the Packers not having drafted an offensive lineman just a technicality. In fact, considering how much attention the former right guard from the University of Pittsburgh was getting, it’s fairly clear the Packers got themselves…

    Daddy’s Hangout Week 5 NFL Predictions 2014

Welcome to Week 5 of the NFL season and last week could’ve been better because my record was 3-3 and brought my overall record to 15-10. My winning percentage drops from 63.2% to 60% in the process, which is definitely not the direction I want to be going. This week I have to start getting better because things can go down real fast if I don’t start winning and I will be predicting 7 games this week. Let’s Get Started!!!     This is the Thursday night game between 2 NFC East rivals when the Minnesota Vikings visit the Green Bay Packers. The Vikings surprised everyone last week…
