Spice 1 is one of the most underrated rappers we have ever seen. Spice 1 released his debut album all the way back in April of 1992. The self-titled album went gold, which was amazing to move over 500,000 units back in the day. The following year he released his second album called 187 He Wrote. The album also went gold, but his track Trigga Gots No Heart blew up. Trigga Gots No Heart appeared on the Menace II Society soundtrack. The following year after that, Spice 1 dropped his third album, and it was called AmeriKKKa’s Nightmare. AmeriKKKa’s Nightmare was another great album from Spice 1. In his 30-plus years in the game, Spice 1 have dropped 16 studio and 11 compilation albums and an EP during that time. Spice 1 just released the 16th album called Platinum OG 2.
The star-studded album was a dope project with a lot of features. With this being my Throwback Thursday, let’s go back to the AmeriKKKa’s Nightmare album. The album featured 2Pac, Method Man, and E-40 and it’s my favorite album from the legendary MC. My featured Throwback Thursday is his classic Face of a Desperate Man.
