Usher U Don’t Have to Call for Throwback Thursday

Usher has been in the news a lot for the past year or so. We all remember the stuff with KeKe Palmer about a year ago. Usher was serenading women, and it made a lot of headlines. Usher released his ninth studio album called Coming Home last Friday. Every album Usher has released went on to go at least gold. The only ones to go gold were his self-titled first album in 1994 and the Hard II Love one from 2016. If that wasn’t enough, Usher performed at the Halftime show of last week’s Super Bowl. If that wasn’t enough, it was rumored that Usher married his girlfriend while in Vegas. As you can see, Usher has been everywhere and if all that wasn’t enough there will be a tour coming also. As far as Usher’s music, he’s one of my favorite performers of all time.

Confessions was his fourth album and it’s one of my all-time favorite projects. Confessions went on to sell over 10 million copies and that was just in the United States. With so many hits, it’s hard to pick just one track from Usher. 8701 was another classic album from Usher and it was the album before Confessions. 8701 is where I’ll grab my featured throwback track for this week. The album went on to sell over 7 million records worldwide. U Don’t Have to Call was the third single from the album and it’s my featured Throwback Thursday joint.
