Week 10 is in the books and things continue to heat up during the 2023 NFL season. My record last week was 5-4 and my overall mark is now 59-33. The winning percentage dips slightly from 65.1% to 64.1%. The first loss came when the Houston Texans went to Cincinnati and upset the Bengals. C.J. Stroud pretty much clinched offensive rookie of the year and put his name into the MVP contention. The second loss came when the Minnesota Vikings beat the New Orleans Saints. Joshua Dobbs is the feel-good story of the league after leading the Vikings to another win. My third and final loss came when the Cleveland Browns went to Baltimore and beat the Ravens. Deshaun Watson had a perfect second half to lead the Browns to an impressive victory. The week started off with the Chicago Bears defeating the Carolina Panthers.
The Bears helped their chances of getting the top pick with the win. Chicago owns the Panthers first round pick in the upcoming draft as part of their deal from a year ago. Despite the lack of offense, the Steelers continue to win games. Pittsburgh defeated the Green Bay Packers 23-19. The 49ers are back after blowing out the Jacksonville Jaguars 34-3 on the road. Kyler Murray returned and helped lead the Cardinals to a win over the Atlanta Falcons. Detroit defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 41-38 in a shootout. The Dallas Cowboys rebounded from their loss to the Eagles by annihilating the New York Giants. Las Vegas beat the Jets in the Sunday Night game. Antonio Pierce is 2-0 since taking over the Raiders. Buffalo dropped another game as they fell to Denver. This week I’ll be predicting another seven games for Week 11 of the 2023 NFL season.

We kick things off with the Thursday night game like always and this should be a great one. The Cincinnati Bengals will head to Baltimore to face the Ravens in a AFC North matchup. Every team in the division has a winning record and is separated by one game in the loss column. The Bengals and Ravens are viewed as two of the best teams in the AFC. They both enter this game coming off heartbreaking losses. The Bengals fell Houston in a thriller at home. Baltimore also lost at home, and it was to division rival Cleveland Browns. The Ravens are atop of the division but had their 4-game winning streak snapped. The Bengals also had their 4-game winning streak snapped also. In a tough matchup I’m picking the Bengals to win a tough one. Cincinnati Win 24-23

We have a battle between the other two teams in the AFC North. The Pittsburgh Steelers travel to Cleveland to face the Browns. If Baltimore loses on Thursday, the winner of this game will take over the division. The Steelers have won four of their last five games. Despite having one of the worse offenses in the league they have a chance to take the division lead. Cleveland have also won four of their last five games. Deshaun Watson put together a flawless second half against the Ravens last week. Watson injured his ankle and had an MRI to see its severity. Deshaun Watson is returning to form, and they have one of the top rushing attacks. The defense is one of the better ones in the league. I’m going with the Browns in a close one if Watson plays. Cleveland Win 23-14

We stay in the AFC for this matchup between two playoff hopefuls. The Las Vegas Raiders travel to Miami to face the Dolphins. Ever since Antonio Pierce took over for the Raiders, they’re 2-0. The offense continues to struggle, but the defense is playing at a high level. The wins came against the Giants and Jets, so they’re facing stiffer competition now. Will the Raiders prove that they’re legit? Miami is coming off their bye week after losing two of their last three games. Despite having the best offense in the league, people are questioning if the Dolphins can beat a winning team. The Raiders are playing better so Miami’s offense needs to step it up. The Dolphins remain atop of the AFC East, but the Bills could get hot anytime. I’m picking the Dolphins to win this one. Miami Win 31-20

We head to the NFC as Tampa Bay travel out west to San Francisco to meet the 49ers. Tampa started the season 3-1 and it looked promising. The Bucs lost four in a row but had an impressive win over the Titans last weekend. Baker Mayfield continues to play well for the Bucs. Mayfield injured his thumb in the game, but he says he’s fine. The Bucs defense has been good this season, but they will have their hands full against the Niners. San Francisco came off their bye week and beat down the Jaguars. With the returns of Deebo Samuel and Trent Williams, the team has their swag back. The defense could feast on Mayfield seeing the Bucs lack a running game. This could be another blowout for the Niners as I’m picking them to win. San Francisco Win 30-13

We have a battle between AFC North foes from New York. The New York Jets travel to Buffalo to take on the Bills. The Jets have dropped two in a row after their 3-game winning streak. The Jets offense have been struggling to say the least. New York has scored 18 points in those two losses. The defense can only do so much for this team. The Jets can’t win games, averaging 16 points a game. Buffalo need to win this game because they’re entering a tough 4-game streak after this one. The Bills face the Eagles, Chiefs, Cowboys, and Chargers during that run. Buffalo will be on the road for three of those four games. This is a must win for the Bills. I’m going with the Bills to beat the Jets before they hit the road. Buffalo Win 27-17

We have the Sunday Night game as the Minnesota Vikings head to Denver to face the Broncos. The Vikings have won five games in a row and have crept on the Lions in the NFC North. Joshua Dobbs looked amazing in his two games with the Vikings. In those two games, the Vikings scored 58 points without their top weapon. Justin Jefferson could return to the lineup for this game. Can the Vikings make it 6 wins in a row? Russell Wilson is having a good year and it seems the team has turned things around. They are 4-5 and very much in playoff contention in the AFC. The stats say they have the worse defense in the league, but they’re better than that. I’m picking the Broncos to find a way to beat the Vikings. Denver Win 24-23

We have the Super Bowl rematch as the Philadelphia Eagles travel to Kansas City to face the Chiefs. The Eagles come into this game with the best record in the league. The offense can beat you in many ways and Jalen Hurts is a MVP candidate. The big issue for the Eagles is the secondary, but they should be healthier for this game. Can the Eagles avenge their Super Bowl loss? Kansas City has Patrick Mahomes as he’s having another MVP season. The defense is the reason for their 7-2 start. The defense was sliced up by Hurts in the Super Bowl, but they have improved. This shouldn’t be a game where they’re scoring in the 30s. This should be another great game played by them, but I’m picking the Chiefs at home. Kansas City Win 28-24
