AJ Terrell Hosts Field Day at Camp HBCYouth on Thursday

Atlanta Falcons star cornerback, AJ Terrell will host Field Day at Camp HBCYouth on Thursday. This will take place at Morehouse College from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This is hosted by an Atlanta-based nonprofit, Camp HBCYouth. The educational summer day camp that’s based on the principles and values of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). The event will feature a guest appearance by NFL Atlanta Falcons star, AJ Terrell, who will speak and spend the day with the campers on the field for a day filled with activities and games for the kids.

Camp HBCYouth registration is now open at $200 per child, with $100,000 in scholarships available for eligible children in pre-K to 5th grade. The camp provides continued education and support during the summer, featuring academic enrichment, group projects, leadership activities, a summer food program, and recreational programming including arts & crafts, physical fitness, and music. This year’s participating universities include Clark Atlanta University, Spelman College Morehouse College and Tennessee State University.

Following a successful collaboration last year, the 2025 camp will again feature opportunities to explore Amazon Access programs, including payment with SNAP EBT, Access Discounts, and Prime Access—which offers all the benefits of a regular Prime membership at 50% of the cost for qualifying government assistance recipients and income-verified customers in the U.S.

Thoughts:

This is an amazing experience for the kids to take part in something like this. It’s also great for AJ Terrell to take the time to work with the kids. This is something they will never forget in their lives. Seeing this camp is extra special to me because my daughter is currently enrolled in an HBCU school.
