Keith Sweat I’ll Give All My Love to You Turns 35

The 90s has been known for a lot of great things and music is one of them. R&B and hip hop were at its best and Keith Sweat was one of the top artists. Keith Sweat released his debut album, Make It Last Forever back in 1987. Make It Last Forever is still one of my favorite R&B albums ever. Less than three years later, Keith Sweat hit us with his second joint. I’ll Give All My Love to You was the name and it turns 35 years old today. Make It Last Forever sold over three million records. I’ll Give All My Love to You was another phenomenal album and it sold well over two million copies. Make You Sweat was the first single to drop from the album. Make You Sweat picked up where the final single from his debut album dropped off.

The single went gold and was one of the more popular joints from the album. It reached number fourteen on the Billboard Hot 100 and spent one week at number one on the US R&B singles chart. Merry Go Round was released as a promotional single and not an official one. The title track, I’ll Give All My Love to You was the official second single. I’ll Give All My Love to You is my favorite song from the album. The song reached number seven on the US Billboard Hot 100 and spent one week at number one on the US Billboard R&B chart. In the spring of 1991, Your Love, Pt. 2 was released, but not in an official capacity.
