This past weekend, the WWE held their Saturday Night’s Main Event in Tampa Florida. They announced the WWE will be taking over Atlanta the weekend of July 12th. WWE will host a multi-event weekend takeover in Atlanta on Saturday, July 12 and Sunday, July 13, featuring Saturday Night’s Main Event, Evolution and The Great American Bash. State Farm Arena will host the NBC primetime special Saturday Night’s Main Event on Saturday, July 12. On Sunday night, the groundbreaking all-women’s Premium Live Event, Evolution returns. Evolution debuted back in 2018, and everyone has been clamoring for another Evolution event. In addition to those events, NXT will have The Great American Bash on Saturday prior to Saturday Night’s Main Event. The Great American Bash will take place from Center Stage Theater, which is ironic. WCW Saturday Night used to take place their and The Great American Bash was one of their PPV events.
Two-day combo ticket packages for Saturday Night’s Main Event and Evolution are already on sale. The WWE just had their Saturday Night’s Main Event this past weekend. Will John Cena make an appearance seeing he’s on his retirement tour? As far as the Evolution event is concerned, this should be one of their better events. The WWE have a lot of talented women across all their rosters. When you have Raw, Smackdown, NXT women along with the ladies of TNA and AAA this is special. The Great American Bash is a NXT PLE and they always put on great events. The NXT Battleground had some amazing matches and I’m sure The Great American Bash will also.
