Trav’s 2024 Week 11 NFL Picks

Week 10 is in the books, and the Kansas City Chiefs are still undefeated. The Chiefs needed a blocked field goal to secure their win against Denver. Baltimore and Cincinnati put on an instant classic last Thursday as the Ravens edged the Bengals 35-34. In New Orleans, the Saints ended their seven game losing streak by defeating the Atlanta Falcons. The win came after New Orleans fired Coach Dennis Allen the week prior. Christian McCaffrey made his season debut and the Niners beat the Bucs on the road. In another great game, the Steelers went to Washington and beat the Commanders 28-27. In a highly anticipated game, the Eagles went to Dallas and demolished the Cowboys 34-6. The New York Jets season continues to spiral downward after losing to Arizona 31-6. The Sunday Night game saw Jared Goff throw five picks and the Lions still beat the Texans.

Miami rebounded on Monday Night with a big win in Los Angeles. My Week 10 picks garnered a 5-2 record, and my overall mark jumped to 61-35. The winning percentage goes from 62.9% to 63.5%. This week I’ll be picking another seven games. Check out Trav’s 2024 Week 11 picks below.

We kick off with the Thursday Night game like always. We have a treat as the Washington Commanders head to Philadelphia to battle the Eagles. These two teams are separated by a half game for first place in the NFC East. The Commanders have been one of the biggest surprises thus far this season. They were picked to finish at the bottom of the NFC East, but it was dependent on Jayden Daniels. Daniels has far exceeded expectations, but how will he fare in Philly? The Eagles are on a five game winning streak, and they look great in all phases. Philadelphia is making it happen with a great running game and a smothering defense. Can they keep this going against the explosive Commanders offense? This Eagles team can compete with anyone and I’m picking them to win this one. Philadelphia Win 31-24

We have another battle between the top two teams in a division. The Baltimore Ravens will head to Pittsburgh to battle the Steelers. These teams are also separated by a half game with Pittsburgh leading. Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry are on almost every list for MVP candidates. The Ravens are the top rushing team in the league and 3^rd in passing. They are scoring almost 32 points a game, but the defense is allowing over 25 points. Ever since Russell Wilson took over the starting quarterback position the offense has looked amazing. They are averaging almost 31 points a game during their four game winning streak. The defense is second in the league by giving up an average of 16 points per game. This will come down to the final possession and I’m picking the Ravens to win. Baltimore Win 31-30

We have the Atlanta Falcons heading to Colorado to face the Denver Broncos. The Falcons are coming off a crushing loss in New Orleans. Atlanta still holds a two game lead in the NFC South, but it was still a bad loss. Atlanta is a Super Bowl contender in my opinion, but the defense must step up in critical games. The limited mobility of Kirk Cousins could play a factor as we get close to playoff time. Can the Falcons pull this one out in Denver? The Broncos have dropped their last two games, including having their last second field goal blocked in Kansas City. Denver still has one of the best defenses in the league giving up less than 18 points a game. Both teams need this win, but I’m picking the Falcons to emerge victorious. Atlanta Win 24-23

We head to the NFC West for this key matchup. The Seattle Seahawks will head to San Francisco to battle the 49ers. The Seahawks have dropped five of their last six games after starting the season 3-0. Despite their windfall, Seattle is only a game back in the loss column. Geno Smith and the pass offense rank first in passing yards a game. On the other hand, the defense is one of the worst in the league. The 49ers will have Christian McCaffrey back for the second game as he gets more touches in the offense. The defense isn’t what it once was, but still capable of getting key stops. The Niners are a half game behind the Cardinals for the NFC West lead. I’m picking Deommodore Lenoir and the Niners to have a big game with his new contract to win. San Francisco Win 31-20

We have one of the most anticipated games of the season right here. The Kansas City Chiefs will head to Buffalo to battle the Bills. Kansas City remains the only unbeaten team in the league. They are 9-0 but have had their fair share of close calls this season. The addition of DeAndre Hopkins has done wonders for the Chiefs thus far. We normally talk about Patrick Mahomes, but it has been the Chiefs defense holding them down. Buffalo are in the midst of a five game winning streak and Josh Allen is playing at an MVP level. Kansas City has been their biggest hurdle over the years and will be this year. These teams have been a part of some classic games between Mahomes and Allen. Josh Allen will finally get the best of them and lead the Bills to the win. Buffalo Win 27-24

We have the Sunday Night game between two of the top quarterbacks in the AFC. Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals head out west to Los Angeles to face Justin Herbert and the Chargers. Despite Joe Burrow putting up MVP-like numbers, the Bengals are only 4-6. The pass game is top 5 in the league, but the run game is one of the worse. The defense is giving up a little over 26 points a game. Cincinnati is hoping to get Tee Higgins back this week. Jim Harbaugh and the Chargers have won four of their last five games. They have the best scoring defense in the league and the offense is coming along. Are they legit contenders in the AFC? New Orleans, Cleveland and Tennessee are the three teams they beat during their 3-game win streak. I’m going with the Bengals to win. Cincinnati Win 31-27

We will stay in Texas for the Monday Night game. The Houston Texans will make the trip to Dallas to face the struggling Cowboys. Houston has found themselves struggling also after losing three of their last four games. The offensive line can’t seem to protect C.J. Stroud. The offense will get a boost for this one with the return of Nico Collins. Collins will return after dealing with a hamstring issue. Will it be enough to get back on track? It was confirmed that Dak Prescott is having season-ending surgery on his hamstring. As of now, Cooper Rush will be their guy for the rest of the season. Can the offense generate some points? Can the defense slow down the Texans offense? I’m seeing the Texans going to Dallas and win this one. Houston Win 27-20
