First things first, rest in peace to Magic who passed away in March of 2013 in a car accident. Magic and his wife passed away and their 12-year-old daughter was the lone survivor. Magic first appeared on C-Murder’s songs “Picture Me” and “Watch Yo Enemies” on his 1998 album Life or Death. He was signed to C-Murder’s label Tru Records, a sublabel to No Limit Records. Later in the year, Magic would release his debut album called Sky’s the Limit. Sky’s the Limit was a solid album and Magic also appeared on other No Limit artists also. Thuggin’ was the follow up to the Sky’s the Limit project. It wasn’t as successful, but it was another good project from Magic. Wobble Wobble was the only single from the album and it featured C-Murder and Mac.
Wobble Wobble turned into the lead single for the 504 Boyz joint that dropped in March of 2000. Unfortunately, like many other artists from No Limit Records, this was his final album he released with them. Sky’s the Limit was a little better than Thuggin’, which is why it was included in my top No Limit albums. Below are my top 5 tracks from the Thuggin’ album. After that, check out the track listing and stream link for the Thuggin’ album.
