One of the albums that was played this week was a slow jams mixtape. One of the many gems on the album was Sweet Lady by Tyrese. Tyrese is mostly known for being part of the Fast & Furious franchise. Before all of that, Tyrese first hit the scene in commercials for Coca-Cola. Tyrese showed off his voice and it led to him getting a record deal. In 1998, he released his self-titled debut studio album. The album would go platinum and Sweet Lady was the second single to be released off the album. Sweet Lady is a classic 90s R&B track from Tyrese and it’s my featured Throwback Thursday track. Tyrese has a new movie to hit the theaters soon called 1992. Check out the video for Sweet Lady below.
